it's October again. . .

^^^ what I look like most of the time, now.
rain jacket. ugly, (but warm) boots. leggings. flowers.

October is and always will be a pivotal month for me. It marks exactly one year of living in the house I do now. It marked the end of the craziest summer I ever experienced - the summer of 2018. It means fall and brilliant colors.

It means, finally. . .
stability.

Isn't stability the most wonderful thing to ever exist? So cozy and warm and safe.
I can't get enough of it.

This year, though, October has been way easier and far less complicated. Hooray for that. We got snow in September, but it hasn't reappeared since. Snow, as far as I'm concerned, can visit as long as it's winter. Not before. Not after.

Sukkot was memorable too. In spite of the frigid cold, we built a campfire that grew so hot, we kept inching our chairs away from it. My brothers also built the best sukkah. I don't have any good pictures of it, however, so you'll just have to believe me when I say it was pretty awesome.

Okay, so it's Friday again. I don't have grand plans for this weekend because I'm a little worn this week. Just a really good novel to finish. Hiking if the weather permits. Simple things.

I hope you're enjoying fall for all it's worth.
It doesn't last long, friend.

cheers.
