Hello all,
Welcome to the new home of Close to Nothing. I've moved to blogger.

When I first started blogging, WordPress was my #1 platform of choice. I had worked with it before with great success. I knew the layout and loved the formatting. I still love WP, but after blogging there for a year, the ads were getting to me. Tooooo many ads.

WP also offers limited space for their free accounts, and I know I would have reached my limit sooner or later. Besides, I'm not in a position to pay for a domain name or more space. So. I decided Blogger is the better option, and here I am.

I'm still leaving the old home up and running because (a) I love the way it looks and can't bring myself to delete it permanently (b) the website that I would use to convert my WP backup file to Blogger is no longer available, so I couldn't move my posts here if I wanted.

Starting with a blank slate, are we? Yes, yes we are. My mission for this blog hasn't changed - just the place where it resides. I hope to be sharing more photography with you, (which a great many of you have requested). and lots of other good things.
